how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application "Zanya" and related
services (collectively, the "App").
2. Information We Collect
2.1. Information You Provide
Account Data: When you register, we process your email address and password (hashed and
salted via Firebase Authentication). You may optionally provide a display name.
Dream Journal Data: The core function of the App is to store text descriptions of your
dreams, associated moods, tags, and date/time metadata. This data is private to you and stored securely.
Audio Data: If you use voice-to-text features, audio input is processed transiently to
convert speech to text. We do not store raw audio recordings on our servers; only the
transcribed text is retained.
Customer Support: If you contact us via email, we collect your email address and the
content of your message to assist you.
2.2. Automatically Collected Information
Usage Data: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous data about how you
interact with the App (e.g., screens visited, features used, session duration). This helps us improve
stability and user experience.
Device Data: We collect limited device information such as device model, operating system
version, and general location (country/region) to ensure compatibility and regional compliance.
Crash Logs: In the event of an error, Firebase Crashlytics collects detailed crash reports
(stack traces) to help us identify and fix bugs. These reports do not contain personally identifiable
information (PII) like your name or specific dream content.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly for the following purposes:
Service Provision: To securely store, synchronize, and display your dream journal across
your devices.
AI Analysis & Generation: Your dream text is sent to Google's Gemini API (via Vertex AI) to
generate interpretations, identifying symbols, and creating visual representations (images).
Important: Data sent to the AI API is used solely for generating the specific response for
you. We do not grant our AI providers the right to use your personal dream data to train their public
foundation models.
Product Improvement: To analyze aggregate usage trends and prioritize new features.
Communications: To send you critical account updates, security alerts, or responses to your
support inquiries. We do not sell your email to third-party marketing lists.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trusted third-party providers to operate the App. Data shared with them is limited to what is
necessary for their function:
Google Firebase (USA): Provides authentication, database (Firestore), analytics, and cloud

RevenueCat (USA): Manages subscription billing and in-app purchase validation. We do not
process or store your credit card information directly; this is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or

5. Data Retention & User Rights
Retention: We retain your account data only as long as your account remains active.
Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account at any time directly within the
App settings (Settings -> Account -> Delete Account). This action permanently erases your account
credentials and all associated dream data from our servers. This cannot be undone.
Data Export: You may request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.
GDPR (EU) & CCPA (California): If you are a resident of the European Union or California,
you have specific rights regarding access, correction, and erasure of your data. To exercise these rights,

6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and AES-256
equivalent encryption for data at rest via Firebase. However, strictly speaking, no method of transmission over
the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
Zanya is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions such as the EU).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently
collected such data, we will take steps to delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by
posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App
constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
